Imagine for second with me that you’re a painter, an artist with your canvas, paintbrushes, and watercolors set up for you to begin your process. Then you get this amazing inspiration to create new colors for this masterpiece you’re about to work on, so you begin to create as you go along.
Let’s say the base color of inspiration is orange, and you intend to create different variations of orange so you begin with this bright orange color and proceed to add one tiny drop of brown into the orange and voila!
You have this new orange shade of orange and you called it “burnt orange“.
That’s what my pants feel like to me as if a fabulous creative genius made this work of art in such vibrant yet neutral burnt orange color.
I just love how vibrant and rich it looks.
It’s neutral like black is considered neutral because, in this shade, these orange pants can go with so many colors of tops. That’s what neutrals do for you, it gives you permission to style your pieces in so many ways, which in turn saves you money.
This color is not so bright so it’s one of those awesome hues to try if you want to introduce more colors into your wardrobe without going straight for those super bright colors in red, yellow or even green etc. This burnt orange can come looking as vibrant as mine looks, or in muted tones or even in deeper orange for those who don’t want any hint of bright colors in their wardrobe.
