My friends had a very intimate wedding during this pandemic.
Certainly, they had a whole different plan which entailed a destination wedding to celebrate their union, but as soon as the Coronavirus hit, their plans quickly changed.
Much like the rest of the people in the world who had pre-booked travel plans with hotels and plane tickets all secured, they had to abruptly readjust their plans. Their new plans would include a virtual set up so that while celebrating and practicing safe social distancing, many of their family and friends would partake of their joyous occasion through a video.
Long story short, their wedding happened at a park where wedding guests had a lot of room to socially distance themselves and it all turned out very beautiful.
I had the honor of photographing their special day, so to dress up for the joyous celebration I wanted to wear one of those colors that would look fab while representing me well as a wedding guest slash photographer slash fashion stylist.
I chose to wear this soft blue-toned dress in this simple and clean-cut style and that allowed me to accomplish those style goals. The blue is a soft tone and therefore not an overpowering color, so the couple still gets to shine like they should and have all eyes on them.
The style of my dress looks sleek, unpretentious and polished, compared to if I wore a bright and bold, clear color in a style that looks distracting, like with my breast poking all the way out while I run around photographing everyone; all of which can potentially distract people from keeping their eyes on the couple.
You get what I mean right?
A blue slate tone like this is a considerate wedding guest color.

I’ve had my dress for almost 2 years now and look how it came in handy for this beautiful celebration of my friends’ union.
