Bermuda is such a beautiful country and quickly became one of my fave places to visit for some
#chilledvacationvibes .
It’s a small country that boasts of so many beautiful beaches and I hope to explore more of it before old age hits ( like say my 80s), and I shouldn’t be traveling by air so much. Until then I say,
Dear Bermuda – we shall meet again, and again and again, God-willing.
I just love love love the place.
Growing up during my high school years, I never heard anyone in my circle of a very colorful, variety of friends talk about Bermuda. After high school, when a lot of us started to make great life decisions like when at 21 years of age, I too decided to move out of the comfort of my hometown in Texas, leaving behind so many loving family and friends so I can find my path and start growing up ( I digress), still no one I met after moving away spoke a word about Bermuda to me.
I basically discovered the country based on a search I conducted online, then decided to travel there as a really spontaneous idea one day back in 2011 and I’ve since fallen so in love with the place.
With that said, I can’t speak to what others have to say about Bermuda, mainly because I didn’t know anyone who had been to the country before I first visited it back in 2011. So when I talk about how beautiful the place looks and appeals, these expressions reflect my unbiased, true feelings about the beautiful country. I mean, it is one of the cleanest and safest places to visit and the people are so kind and accommodating.

For this trip, I went with one of my favorite travel partners, my baby brother Brizzy!
< That’s my nickname for him >
The kid is just a cool, calm, fun-loving, super chilled person. Exactly the kind of personality you need to have around when you want a relaxing, a fuss-free, easy-going trip with someone who’s down with trying new things together with but also fine with doing nothing altogether. I just adore his personality. When I’m around him, my naturally hyper, high-energy persona goes into automatic cruise control, so we spend time really just chillaxing and vibing out together.
We landed in Bermuda very late at night and went straight to bed, but lemme tell ya, as soon as that sun came shining in the morning, we hurriedly got up and got dressed just to go outside and play all day.
And the beautiful hotel where we stayed had an amazing private beach which you see behind us in the photos.
And I fell in more in love with Bermuda.
We ate a delicious breakfast at the hotel, talked about life, then headed into town to a beach park where we enjoyed some watersports, cocktails, music, and more chilled beach vibes.
Jet-skiing and things…
We fed some fishes at the Bermudan triangle and rode around for miles and miles exploring the regional area.
We left the beach park and explored the neighborhood where our hotel was located, stopped by a local grocery to pick up some snacks, walked around the beautiful neighborhood and just chilled.
Finally, back at the hotel we freshened up and went out to grab some Caribbean dinner at one of the spots a driver suggested
For the rest of our time, we enjoyed some more water sports, beach time, ate at other delicious local spots and just basked in all the happiness Bermuda had to offer.
Kayaking, one of my favorite water activities.
DJ Brizzy mixed us some tunes so we jammed while kayaking hahaha, loved it!
Enjoying some more private beach time.
I love how it’s not populated by tourists or people in general.
YAS!
We just had a beautiful time taking in the beauty of God’s creation while revivifying before returning back to normal life routines.
