If you take one look at a flannel shirt, it looks like another regular or plain shirt fit for a casual outfit. 

However, upon spotting this flannel shirt, I envisioned so much more than a casual vibe for it. I wanted to amp up that casual style a few notches.

See, for me to even aim for a flannel plaid shirt felt new because I typically wouldn’t consider buying or wearing such a look, until now that I’ve added my spin to it.

As a stylist, we have to push ourselves and style beyond our comfort zones in order to grow, and I chose to do that here. I wanted to take a chance to do something fresh with a shirt that easily gets dressed down by dressing it up and to my style taste.

All you need to achieve a similar look is one fabulous statement piece; a fur coat.
Oh yes! That fur will automatically elevate looks from that
 “I’ve seen that look too many times style” to “va-va-voom new stylish babe alert status!”
The boyfriend jeans, hat and booties also contributed to the wow factor in this outfit.

I mean, why opt to look regular all the time when you too can step up your game to have a glammed up sense of style.

It’s 2016 babes! Time to amp up your style game, so just do it already.
