Visible on my Instagram @msrexti, is a capture of nature’s fresh colors this season that I just fell in love with during a brisk walk in Manhattan this week.

The glowing yellow petal leaves with sweet dusky green tones and perfectly rich red-orange colors brought a sense of joy for the warmer temperatures ahead. My body typically reacts to this budding season with an itchy throat and constant sneezing etcetera (which strangely enough I enjoy sneezing–is that weird?), it’s all a reminder that even life’s sweet occurrences may come with uncomfortable moments.

  Our demeanor often regulates how well we embrace each uncomfortable experience though and for me, I choose to appreciate those trying moments. Despite my itchy throat, itchy eyes, stuffy nose and constant sneezing, each day the sun shines brightly, I turn on that sanguine persona within and get excited about activities planned for the day.

Thoughts of doing my favorite activities like riding the train to explore random new neighborhoods, taking a walk outside, doing some people watching on busy streets or making random stops at the plethora of restaurants available in New York City, keeps the excitement through every sneeze and itch.
