This year I really loved this halter dress upon setting eyes on it while shopping for my birthday outfit online.
So far I love shopping online for my bday outfits. Actually, I buy most things online but that’s a subject for a whole other day.
Back to this dress, I just loved how festive it looked on the model and immediately imagined myself in it and styled it in my head with this hot pink pumps I’ve had for a few months now but didn’t have that perfect outfit for it just yet. It didn’t even take me long soon after to hit that checkout button online, almost like I’m in a rat-race with all the other millions of online shoppers everywhere who could possibly be looking at the exact same outfit I happen to want – hey, trust me when I say you shouldn’t assume otherwise. And the more people acquire smartphones world-wide, the faster these pieces sell out online so this is a real threat for us fashionistas.
I’m usually afraid it would sell out in minutes because I cannot begin to tell you how often that’s happened to me when I took forever to decide on buying an outfit online I really really liked and then end up crying because they sold out literally right before I could finish checking out. So nowadays I don’t play those hesitation games once I spot “the one”. Besides, I’m not about to let that happen with my birthday outfit I just invested a good amount of time searching for, oh no no no.
I follow all hunches about what outfit to wear and celebrate my birthday in, there’s a vibe I usually feel and I leave no room for any second-guessing nor do I care how much it costs too. I go all out because getting to celebrate another year means a lot.
When the dress arrived in the mail and I tried it on with the pink pumps, it looked just as I imagined it and now here it is.. yay!
Thank you for all the birthday well-wishings, both on social media and in real life, I appreciate you all.
Huge hugs and kisses XOXO.
