How do you keep your winter style fun while keeping warm?
I do that by getting really creative about the pieces I put together, with some small details to consider. For instance, my jeans are best worn in the summer because it’s ankle-length and it has really big holes in the backside of it instead of the front like typical ripped jeans come; I’ll style it again and show you the ripped part in another outfit.
But to accommodate my choice in ripped jeans and to keep my style goals of the day ( which is to add a touch of European flair) I added these sparkly black tights underneath the jeans so I won’t freeze, but in case that didn’t hold up well, my hug faux fur blue coat will certainly keep me warm. Then for that European flair, my beret hat did the magic. It’s channeling my Parisian feelings for the season because a beret hat is part of the French’s addition to fashion history.
When I first visited Paris back in 2010-2011, I really wanted to wear a beret but didn’t, mainly because I was still figuring my personal style esthetics and the hat just didn’t fit into that phase of my style. Fast forward to this moment, I’m making it up here with this outfit.
Andddd guess what, I’m going to London for the first time ever next month, mainly for London’s Fashion Week, but yay!!!!
I’m ecstatic about it and with this outfit, I’m preparing my mind for the European adventures I hope to enjoy for those few days while visiting London.
