Well, for starters I will not go running in this dress, even if it’s to catch my arriving train and I just needed to run down a few stairs. Just imagine me doing all that in this dress that restricts my movements and in these really skinny high heels, then imagine me toppling over and falling flat on my face – hahaha! Won’t be so chic for me right?

Secondly, I will not wear this to an interview for a regular job. I mean, come on, I’m trying to get a job here not an eye-roll or three.

Lastly, I certainly will not go to church in this here blue dress. It will be like me choosing to cause someone else to sin and have impure thoughts about me because, hello! Do you see this dress? It’s body-hugging (aka Bodycon), and in a bright, popping color that pretty much says

 “Hey there, I want you to see me”. 

My goals for going to church includes a serious focus on praying together, learning, singing, worshipping God, and caring for one another as one big family; goals that don’t entail the selfish or negative alluring type of attention. 

Like, I’m pretty sure Jesus will not be impressed with me if I did that, especially because I know better and therefore should do better than to show up to fellowship with goals of tempting someone with my sensual appearance. 

This dress was hard to resist though when I spotted it because it came in this pretty, bright, cobalt blue color. 

A blue like this allows you to make a bold statement without coming off assertive, overbearing or having too strong of a presence like what a bright red outfit would do in comparison.  I am certainly ready for a wine and dine, fun and chilled time with my friends, to enjoy this beautiful New York summer weekend.

So off I go in my vibrant, blue, bodycon, hot number.
